Meta Enhances AI Chatbot with Productivity Features to Compete with Rivals

The updated Meta AI will gain the ability to interact with a user's calendar to assist in planning events and generate daily summaries of relevant information. Furthermore, the AI will support more in-depth research tasks, with users able to guide the process as it unfolds, expanding its utility beyond simple question answering and image generation.

This advancement is powered by Meta's recently released Llama 3 model, which the company states enables the chatbot to achieve greater capabilities.
