Meta has launched a new app, Sellers, aimed at enhancing the experience for those using Facebook Marketplace to sell goods. The application, now available to U.S. users aged 18 and over, synchronizes with Facebook Marketplace, allowing sellers to manage listings, messages, and sales history.

The Sellers app features an artificial intelligence tool that can generate titles, descriptions, price suggestions, and category recommendations based on an uploaded product photo. This feature is intended to expedite and simplify the creation of new product listings.

Additionally, the app provides sellers with performance insights, including metrics on views, clicks, conversations, and sales for individual items. This data aims to assist sellers in making more informed decisions regarding pricing and inventory management.

The launch signals Meta's increased focus on Facebook Marketplace, particularly as it gains traction among younger demographics. Globally, over 430 million items are listed on the platform monthly.
