Meta names new Southeast Asia business group head

Meta has appointed Dhruv Vohra to lead its Global Business Group in Southeast Asia, effective October 1, 2026. Vohra will be responsible for the company's commercial strategy across Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.

In his new role, Vohra will report to Benjamin Joe, Meta's vice president for Asia Pacific. Vohra joined Meta in 2019 and most recently held a broader Asia Pacific role after previously leading growth initiatives for small and medium-sized businesses in Southeast Asia.

This appointment comes as Meta continues to enhance its offerings for advertisers, including developing new tools and integrating artificial intelligence features to assist businesses in creating and optimizing their campaigns. The company aims to support businesses in navigating the evolving digital advertising landscape.

The move also aligns with market projections indicating continued growth in Southeast Asia's advertising sector. Meta's strategic appointments signal an ongoing focus on expanding its presence and support for businesses in this dynamic region.
