MetaOptics details process for converting Singapore shares to ADS

MetaOptics has provided instructions for shareholders to convert Singapore-listed shares into American Depositary Shares for trading on the OTCQX market.

2 November 2026

MetaOptics Ltd has released a procedural guide for shareholders looking to convert their common shares traded on the SGX Catalist into American Depositary Shares (ADS). This follows the company's September 2026 launch of a Level 1 ADR program, which allows its securities to trade on the OTCQX platform in the United States.

The conversion requires shareholders to maintain a U.S. brokerage account capable of receiving securities via the Depository Trust Company (DTC) system. Investors must instruct their Singapore-based brokers to transfer their existing shares to J.P. Morgan, which serves as the depositary bank for the program. Upon successful transfer and verification, J.P. Morgan will issue the corresponding ADSs to the investor's specified U.S. account.

MetaOptics aims to use this program to broaden its international investor base and provide U.S.-based investors with a direct entry point into the company. The move is designed to support the firm's growth and commercialization efforts as it expands its footprint in the semiconductor optics sector.

Detailed documentation and FAQs have been made available on the company’s investor relations portal. MetaOptics encourages shareholders to contact their respective brokers to coordinate the conversion process.
