Metsä Board Included on CDP Supplier Engagement Leaderboard
Metsä Board has been recognized by CDP for its work engaging suppliers on climate change, earning a spot on the organization's Supplier Engagement Assessment Leaderboard. This acknowledges their efforts in supply chain climate action.

Metsä Board has been recognized by CDP for its efforts in engaging with suppliers to jointly address climate change, securing a place on the annual Supplier Engagement Assessment (SEA) Leaderboard. This assessment evaluates companies on their governance, targets, Scope 3 emissions, and value chain engagement related to climate issues.
The inclusion on the leaderboard follows Metsä Board's earlier achievement of a CDP Triple A rating across climate change, forests, and water security earlier this year. Only eight companies globally received this highest Triple A rating, with Metsä Board being the sole representative from the forest industry.
The SEA designation highlights companies that are taking significant action to manage climate risks and opportunities within their supply chains. Metsä Board's recognition suggests a strong performance in collaborating with its suppliers to reduce environmental impact.
Metsä Board produces lightweight cartonboards for packaging applications. The company utilizes fresh wood fibers from sustainably managed Northern European forests and aims to have completely fossil-free mills and raw materials by 2030.
