Metso Divests Loading and Hauling Operations in Finland and Sweden to Miilux
Metso Oyj has agreed to sell its loading and hauling business operations in Finland and Sweden to Miilux Oy. The transaction is expected to close in early 2026.

Metso Oyj has entered into an agreement to divest its loading and hauling business operations in Finland and Sweden, conducted under the Häggblom legal entities, to Miilux Oy. Miilux is a Finnish company specializing in the manufacturing and sale of wear-resistant solutions.
The divestment aligns with Metso's strategic focus on growth, profitability, and increasing the proportion of aftermarket services. By transferring the business to a suitable new owner, Metso aims to sharpen its strategic focus while ensuring the business and its approximately 100 employees can thrive under dedicated new ownership.
Employees located primarily in Kokkola and Kalajoki, Finland, and Luleå, Sweden, will transfer to Miilux. The transaction is anticipated to be completed by early February 2026, pending regulatory approvals. Metso will continue to supply truck bed lining and ground engaging tools to its existing customer base in specific markets.
The financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed. Metso does not expect the sale to have a material financial impact on the company.
