Metso Oyj has launched and updated a suite of digital tools aimed at enhancing efficiency for customers in the mining, metals refining, and aggregates industries. These tools provide easier access to technical data, configuration options, and performance calculators, streamlining project planning and equipment selection.

The offerings include specialized recommenders and resource centers for various applications such as crushing, screening, conveying, and flotation equipment. For instance, the Belt Cleaner Recommender helps users identify suitable cleaning solutions, while the Crush and Convey Resource Center provides access to 3D modules and design data for conveyor routes. Calculators are also available to assess the value and benefits of specific Metso technologies.

Metso states that these digital resources are intended to empower clients with self-service capabilities, reducing the need for direct consultations for accessing technical documentation like General Arrangements (GA) and technical drawings. Tools such as the My Plant Planner offer simulation and configurator functions, allowing users to design more productive plant layouts with real-time insights.
