Metso has officially opened its expanded Service Center and a new Training Center in Mesa, Arizona, enhancing support for mining customers in the southwestern United States. The facility uniquely combines OEM-level service capabilities with a dedicated training environment, reinforcing the company's presence in a key mining region.
The new center is designed to improve customer operations through faster response times and practical, skills-based training. Metso aims to support clients not only with repairs but also proactively by strengthening workforce skills and safety protocols. The Mesa facility represents a EUR 17 million investment and spans approximately 1,900 square meters. The site employs over 100 staff members providing services, sales support, and training to the region's mining sector.
Services offered range from diagnostics to complete component rebuilds. Metso has also recently made other investments in North America, including a technology hub in Pittsburgh and a new service center in British Columbia.
