Helsinki – Metso Oyj has published the seventh edition of its Crushing and Screening Handbook, focusing on the fundamentals and optimization of rock processing. The publication is aimed at quarry managers, site staff, consultants, and students at technical universities.
The handbook discusses the role of rock as a natural resource and its importance as an ingredient in construction materials such as concrete and asphalt. Metso, listed on the New York Stock Exchange, emphasizes that efficient rock processing is crucial for end-product quality and cost-effectiveness.
Aspects covered in the new edition include the selection and operation of screening equipment and crushing machinery. The range includes Metso's various crusher series, such as C Series jaw crushers and GP, HP, MP, and NP series cone and impact crushers, as well as Barmac machines.
