Metso Services Aid Indian Road Builder in Early Completion Bonuses

Metso Oyj has supplied essential services to Dilip Buildcon Limited (DBL), a major Indian road construction company, focusing on aggregate production and plant availability.

The partnership centers on Metso's life cycle services, which ensure a consistent supply of aggregate material necessary for DBL's infrastructure projects. This allows DBL to concentrate on its core competency of road construction and meet aggressive project deadlines. DBL has reportedly secured approximately 14 million Euros in bonuses for completing projects ahead of schedule.

Devendra Jain, CEO and Executive Director of DBL, stated that the company's strategy involves outsourcing the critical function of aggregate production to external experts like Metso, enabling DBL to focus on its primary strength in building roads. Metso's role includes operating and maintaining multiple production sites to guarantee material quality and supply.

Metso's involvement covers crushing and screening equipment, maintenance, inventory planning, and production optimization. DBL has reported sustained year-on-year growth exceeding 78% over the last four years, attributing timely project completions facilitated by Metso as a significant competitive advantage.
