Metso signs multi-year filtration service contracts with mining customers
Metso has secured two multi-year Life Cycle Services (LCS) agreements for filtration with key mining customers in South America and Asia. The contracts, valued at approximately EUR 60 million, cover parts, maintenance, and digital services for Larox® PF filters.

Metso Oyj has finalized two significant, multi-year Life Cycle Services (LCS) agreements concerning filtration technology with key clients in the mining industry. The total order value amounts to approximately EUR 60 million, with the initial orders booked during the first quarter of 2026 within Metso's Minerals segment. One of the agreements stands as one of Metso's largest LCS orders for filtration to date.
The first contract is a five-year agreement with a major copper producer in South America, while the second is a four-year contract with a significant lead and zinc producer in the Asia-Pacific region. These agreements are designed to support the customers' processing operations by providing parts, maintenance, and digital services for an extensive installed base of Larox® PF filters.
The service packages are based on Metso's Larox® PF Plate Pack Management Service (PPMS) concept, which is part of the Metso Plus offering. These services aim to optimize the performance of filtration solutions across multiple sites by combining planned maintenance with the supply of spare parts, repairs, upgrades, and expert support. The scope of services also includes local support and workshop capabilities.
Metso highlights that the long-term service model facilitates proactive maintenance, ensures predictable performance, and offers cost transparency. Furthermore, it helps customers improve plant availability, extend equipment lifespan, and ensure consistent end-product quality. From a sustainability perspective, the services promote component reuse and reduce material consumption, thereby lowering the carbon footprint and supporting customers' climate targets.
