Metso to supply minerals processing technology for Asia-Pacific copper project

Metso Oyj has been selected to supply key minerals processing equipment and technology for a new copper project in the Asia-Pacific region. The total order value exceeds EUR 30 million, with the majority booked in the company's Minerals segment orders for the second quarter of 2026.

The delivery scope includes equipment for grinding, flotation, thickening, filtration, and material handling, covering critical stages of the process plant. The package incorporates Metso's Premier™ semi-autogenous (SAG) and ball mills, TankCell® flotation cells, Metso High Rate Thickeners (HRT), and Larox® filters, along with apron feeders. Digital solutions such as MillSense and RockSense for advanced process control and optimization are also included.
