MIAX Makes Bloomberg Equity Index Futures Available on NinjaTrader

Miami International Holdings (MIAX) announced on October 15, 2026, that its Tini Bloomberg 500 (B500) Index Futures and Tini Bloomberg 100 (B100) Index Futures are now available for eligible NinjaTrader Group customers. NinjaTrader Group is a global provider of futures trading services with approximately 4.5 million users.

The introduction of these futures on the NinjaTrader platform aims to provide retail traders with alternative ways to gain exposure to the U.S. equity market. The B500 and B100 futures are traded exclusively on MIAX Futures and offer features such as smaller notional sizes, no exchange fees for retail traders, and free market data. They are available under ticker symbols TBX for B500 and TBQ for B100.

Thomas P. Gallagher, Chairman and CEO of MIAX, stated that the collaboration with NinjaTrader is crucial for reaching the growing segment of retail investors in the U.S. futures market. He highlighted the products' combination of innovative design and fee-free access as a compelling method for retail investors to manage exposure to large-cap U.S. companies.

Martin Franchi, CEO of NinjaTrader Group, commented that the Tini Bloomberg index futures provide a trusted brand with smaller notional sizes, offering active retail traders another option for U.S. equity exposure. These futures, previously launched on MIAX Futures Onyx, are cleared by The Options Clearing Corporation (OCC).

MIAX anticipates that additional retail brokers will offer these futures starting in the fourth quarter of 2026. The company also plans to launch cash options on the B500 and B100 Indexes on MIAX Options, which are expected to provide enhanced margin and capital efficiencies across the futures and options complex.
