The expansion is set to extend coverage to millions of users across the newly added regions. MIC Global specializes in parametric micro insurance, a type of coverage often tailored for independent contractors and gig workers.

inDrive operates a platform connecting drivers with passengers and offering delivery services. By integrating this insurance offering, the company aims to enhance the safety and reliability of its services for both its users and drivers.

This broader rollout of insurance follows an initial phase of partnership and is intended to provide a safety net for users engaging with the inDrive platform. Financial terms of the expanded partnership were not disclosed.
