Michael Baker International Launches LiveTwin Digital Twin Platform
Michael Baker International has launched LiveTwin, a platform designed to connect fragmented infrastructure data into a single AI-powered environment. The company reports significant acceleration in data onboarding and insight generation.

Michael Baker International has introduced LiveTwin™, a new platform aimed at consolidating disparate infrastructure data into a unified, intelligent environment. The system utilizes artificial intelligence (AI) to transform raw information into actionable insights for managing critical infrastructure.
LiveTwin integrates various data sources, including building information modeling (BIM), geographic information systems (GIS), reality capture, and Internet of Things (IoT) data. The objective is to create a comprehensive view of physical assets and operations, enabling AI to provide real-time analytics and support decision-making.
The platform is reportedly already deployed across more than 1,400 facilities in the United States. Early adopters have experienced accelerated data onboarding, moving from months to minutes, with performance improvements exceeding 20 times that of previous solutions.
LiveTwin is presented as the first offering within Michael Baker's digital innovation ecosystem, digitalMBI. The company emphasizes that the platform is AI-native, with AI capabilities embedded directly into its data foundation.
Early results suggest substantial improvements compared to existing systems. Michael Baker aims for LiveTwin to assist clients in addressing complex infrastructure challenges and shifting from reactive to proactive, intelligence-driven asset management.
