Michael Stibilj Appointed CEO of Emerald Clinical Trials

Emerald Clinical Trials, a global clinical research organization with an anchor in Asia-Pacific, has appointed Michael Stibilj as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective October 1, 2026.

Stibilj brings over 30 years of experience in the Contract Research Organization (CRO) industry. He joins Emerald Clinical from Novotech, where he served as Chief Operating Officer. Previously, he was CEO at PPC Group and held various leadership roles at IQVIA, contributing to complex transformations and revenue growth across the Asia-Pacific region.

The leadership change occurs after a period of significant expansion for Emerald Clinical, including the acquisition of Hongyi Clinical Development Services. This integration has resulted in a combined entity with over 1,000 professionals operating in more than 40 countries and 70 locations, supporting clients from early-phase trials through post-marketing studies globally.
