Michael Stibilj Appointed Chief Executive Officer of Emerald Clinical Trials
Emerald Clinical Trials has appointed Michael Stibilj as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective October 1, 2026. The appointment signals the company's next phase of growth.
Emerald Clinical Trials, a global clinical research organization with a strong presence in the Asia-Pacific region, has appointed Michael Stibilj as its new Chief Executive Officer. The appointment is effective October 1, 2026.
Stibilj brings over 30 years of experience in the Contract Research Organization (CRO) industry. He joins Emerald from Novotech, where he served as Chief Operating Officer, and previously held roles as CEO of PPC Group and in various leadership positions at IQVIA. His experience includes developing global operations and achieving market leadership, particularly within the Asia-Pacific region.
The appointment follows a significant period of growth for Emerald Clinical, including the acquisition of Hongyi Clinical Development Services. This combination created an organization of over 1,000 professionals operating in more than 40 countries and 70 locations, supporting clients from early-phase human trials through post-marketing surveillance across China, Asia, Europe, and the Americas.
