The Michelin Guide has broadened its global reach with the announcement of new restaurant selections across various countries. These updates include new additions to its guides in Poland, Estonia, Japan, and Brazil, among others.
In Poland, the 2026 guide introduced four new one-star restaurants and added 92 establishments to its listings. Estonia's fifth edition unveiled new starred restaurants, while the guide for Nara, Japan, featured one new Michelin-starred venue. Similar expansions were noted in Quebec, Canada, and Belgium and Luxembourg.
Beyond culinary recognition, Michelin is advancing sustainable materials and mobility. The company announced a collaboration with Syntetica to accelerate nylon recycling technology. Additionally, it introduced the 'Michelin universal tire digital twin' aimed at enhancing road safety.
Michelin also released new tire models, the MICHELIN Primacy 5 energy and MICHELIN Pilot Sport 5 energy, focusing on energy efficiency. The company also provided its first-quarter financial data for 2026.
