Michelin Partners with Cycling's Team Picnic PostNL as Technical Sponsor

Michelin is set to become an official technical partner for the professional cycling team Picnic PostNL from 2026 onwards. This partnership signifies Michelin's return to top-tier road cycling, driven by a shared ambition to advance performance through innovation.
The collaboration extends beyond mere tire supply, involving close technical cooperation between Michelin's experts and the performance teams at Picnic PostNL. The objective is to test Michelin tires under extreme race conditions and co-develop future technologies and products.
Picnic PostNL will be equipped with Michelin's latest tire products, making their debut in competitions starting February. Feedback from the team's men's, women's, and development riders will be crucial for continuous performance optimization, aiming to support the team's success on the podium and accelerate innovation for consumer products.
"This partnership allows us to continue developing innovative tire technologies while supporting Team Picnic PostNL's ambitions in World Tour competition," said Vincent Ledieu, Director of the Cycling Program at Michelin. "Working closely with the riders and the whole team allows us to better understand the demands of competing at the highest level."
Team Picnic PostNL competes at the highest level of professional cycling and participates in all World Tour races. In 2026, the team comprises 28 male, 17 female, and 16 development riders, embodying a modern and ambitious vision for elite sport. The team shares values of performance and innovation with Michelin.
