Microsoft and Lumen expand enterprise AI networking partnership
Lumen Technologies and Microsoft have expanded their collaboration to enhance cloud connectivity and networking infrastructure for enterprise AI workloads.

Lumen Technologies and Microsoft announced on November 2 that they are expanding their partnership to facilitate enterprise AI deployment. The companies aim to help businesses integrate data, applications, and networking infrastructure across Azure and other digital environments.
This expansion builds upon an existing relationship where Lumen’s Private Connectivity Fabric has supported Microsoft's data center operations. Under the new agreement, Lumen plans to bring additional cloud networking and application connectivity products to the Azure ecosystem, with several offerings set for inclusion in the Microsoft Marketplace.
The collaboration aligns with Microsoft’s broader focus on improving cloud interoperability, exemplified by its recent introduction of Azure Multicloud Interconnect for Amazon Web Services. For Lumen, the partnership serves as a key component of its ongoing business transformation, focusing on providing high-capacity, low-latency connectivity for modern AI-driven enterprise workloads.
