Microsoft brings original Xbox games to PC
Microsoft is making original Xbox console games available on PC. Four classic games are now purchasable and downloadable for PC users, and available through Xbox Game Pass.
Microsoft has begun offering original Xbox console games on PC. Four titles—Blinx: The Time Sweeper, Conker: Live and Reloaded, Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge, and Fuzion Frenzy—are now available for purchase and download on the PC platform.
These games are also included with all tiers of the Xbox Game Pass subscription service. Previously, Microsoft had focused on backward compatibility for its Xbox consoles, making older titles playable on newer hardware. This expansion extends the availability of these classic games to PC players.
The move is part of Microsoft's broader strategy to bring more Xbox console games to its PC platform. The availability of these older titles could increase Game Pass adoption and engage players with the legacy of the Xbox brand.
Microsoft has indicated plans to release additional games from the Xbox console library to PC in the future, further expanding the PC gaming ecosystem.
