Microsoft raises prices for Microsoft 365 business subscriptions
Microsoft has increased subscription fees for its Microsoft 365 business plans by 8% to 33%, effective July 1.
Microsoft has implemented price increases for its Microsoft 365 business subscriptions, taking effect on July 1. The adjustments, first announced in December 2025, are specific to business plans and do not affect personal or educational versions.
The price hikes range from 8% to 33%. The most significant increase applies to the Microsoft 365 F1 subscription, targeted at "Firstline Workers." This plan has seen its price rise from $2.25 to $3 per month, marking a 33.33% increase.
In December 2025, Microsoft reported that its Microsoft 365 applications were used by over 430 million individuals. The company has also enhanced AI capabilities within Microsoft 365, including Copilot Chat, which now offers improved inbox and calendar awareness and access to documents, spreadsheets, and presentations for content iteration.
