Microsoft Sets New Time Limits for Xbox Game Pass Cloud Streaming
Microsoft will impose monthly streaming time limits on its Xbox Cloud Gaming service for Game Pass subscribers starting in November. Limits vary by subscription tier.

Microsoft has announced new restrictions on the streaming time included with its Xbox Cloud Gaming service for Game Pass subscribers. These changes are set to take effect in November.
Under the new policy, Game Pass Ultimate subscribers will receive 15 hours of cloud streaming time per month. Game Pass Premium members will be allocated 10 hours, and Game Pass Essential subscribers will have 5 hours.
Previously, Game Pass Ultimate offered unlimited access to the Xbox Cloud Gaming service. Microsoft stated that subscribers who exceed their monthly allotment will be able to purchase additional streaming time, though specific pricing and availability for this option have not yet been disclosed.
The introduction of these limits affects only the cloud streaming component of the service. Access to downloadable versions of games included in Game Pass subscriptions remains unchanged.
