As part of the launch, Microsoft has also rebranded Scout, an AI personal assistant introduced earlier this year, to Autopilot. The redesigned Copilot app features three tabs: Home, Code, and Autopilot. The Home tab integrates Copilot Chat and a Cowork feature, serving as the default landing experience.
Microsoft is positioning the Copilot app as a significant development, drawing parallels to the influence of its Office suite. The company plans to incorporate a "Today" feature within the app, functioning as a personalized dashboard for important information and tasks.
