Aspyr launched the "Middle-earth: Shadow Bundle" for Nintendo Switch on September 30. This collection brings "Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor Game of the Year Edition" and "Middle-earth: Shadow of War Definitive Edition" to Nintendo's platform for the first time. Both titles are also available for individual purchase.
The bundle is priced at $34.99 in the US, a 50% discount from the original $69.99 price. Individually, "Shadow of Mordor" costs $9.99 and "Shadow of War" is $24.99. "Shadow of Mordor" has previously received over 50 awards and includes additional content such as exclusive missions and characters. "Shadow of War" includes all downloadable content and expansions, encompassing story-driven and Nemesis System related add-ons.
The original developer, Monolith Productions, was shut down in 2025. Aspyr, known for its porting expertise, is handling the distribution. Warner Bros. holds the patent for the Nemesis System until August 2036, which significantly limits the development of new installments in the series in the near future.
