Midea Building Technologies highlights guidelines for optimal drinking water pH
Midea Building Technologies has released technical insights into drinking water quality, stressing that a pH range of 6.5 to 8.5 is essential for health and effective hydration.

Midea Building Technologies has issued guidance regarding the impact of pH levels in drinking water on human health. Aligning with World Health Organization (WHO) standards, the company advises that water intended for consumption should maintain a pH between 6.5 and 8.5 to ensure safety and physiological compatibility.
According to the report, consuming water with a pH below 6.5, which is classified as acidic, may lead to digestive issues, enamel erosion, and potential long-term skeletal concerns. Conversely, water with a pH exceeding 8.5 can disturb stomach acidity, causing discomfort such as bloating and impaired nutrient absorption.
Maintaining a balanced pH is crucial for supporting bodily functions, including circulation, digestion, and detoxification. Midea emphasizes that monitoring water quality is a foundational aspect of personal health management and consistent hydration.
