Midea Celest Inverter Air Conditioner Uses AI for Energy Savings
Midea Building Technologies has launched the Celest Inverter air conditioner, featuring "AI ECOMASTER" technology designed to achieve up to 30% energy savings. The unit also promises rapid cooling and enhanced durability against harsh environmental conditions.
Midea Building Technologies has introduced the Celest Inverter air conditioner, integrating artificial intelligence to boost energy efficiency and user comfort. The device's "AI ECOMASTER" system utilizes Gigabyte-level data to learn and adapt its operation based on room usage patterns and environmental conditions, potentially reducing energy consumption by up to 30% compared to conventional units.
The AI technology aims to optimize compressor performance and maintain a stable temperature with ±0.3°C precision, minimizing unnecessary workload and energy waste, especially during night hours. Midea states that the 30% extra energy saving, certified by SGS, is a result of comparing the energy consumption of the "AI ECOMASTER" mode against the normal mode of the same model over a four-hour period.
The Celest Inverter also features "Cool Flash" technology, which is claimed to lower room temperature by 5°C within 10 minutes. This is achieved through an upgraded airflow system and wider swing angle. Additionally, the "Power Cooling" function allows the unit to operate effectively at outdoor temperatures up to 55°C, making it suitable for hot climates.
Durability is enhanced by the "Prime Guard" feature, incorporating TU1 copper tubes and a "Silver Shield" coating to resist corrosion. The unit's "Wide Voltage Operation" (80V–265V) and "Reliable PCB + UV Conformal Coating" protect electrical components from voltage fluctuations and moisture. The "I-Clean" function automatically cleans the indoor coil through a freezing and defrosting process, removing dirt and preventing bacterial growth.
