Midea Group Revenue Increases Over 20% in Q1 2025
Midea Group reported Q1 2025 results with revenue reaching RMB 128.4 billion (+20.6% year-over-year) and net profit surging 38.0% to RMB 12.4 billion.

Chinese conglomerate Midea Group (000333.SZ 0300.HK) announced its first-quarter 2025 financial results, demonstrating robust growth. The company's total revenue stood at RMB 128.4 billion, marking a 20.6% increase year-over-year. Net profit attributable to shareholders surged 38.0% to RMB 12.4 billion.
The company's profit growth was driven by a focus on core businesses and strong expansion in its Business-to-Business (B2B) segments. Notably, revenue from Energy Solutions & Industrial Technology climbed 45% to RMB 11.1 billion. Intelligent Building Technology revenue saw a 20% increase, and the Robotics & Automation segment grew by 9%.
Midea also continued its shareholder-friendly policies, announcing a new share repurchase program worth RMB 1.5-3 billion in April. Since its IPO in 2013, the company has distributed over RMB 134 billion in dividends.
Globally, Midea's e-commerce sales grew by over 50%. The company has also strengthened its local presence by establishing an Asia-Pacific headquarters in Thailand. Domestically, retail sales for Midea's premium brands, COLMO and Toshiba, increased by over 55%.
