Midea issues guide for selecting air conditioning units

Midea Building Technologies has published a guide to assist consumers in selecting the right air conditioning unit for their households. The guide helps compare inverter, standard, and portable models for different domestic needs.

The initial step in the selection process involves determining the correct cooling capacity based on room size. Midea provides recommendations for capacity (PK/BTU) according to dimensions, while also considering room orientation and usage patterns. Units that are too small or too large can lead to increased energy consumption.

Another key decision is between inverter and non-inverter technology. Inverter units continuously adjust compressor power, resulting in more stable temperatures and energy savings during prolonged use. Non-inverter models have a lower initial purchase cost but consume more energy.

Midea offers the Celest series with inverter technology and the Standard GP series with conventional technology. The PHA series of portable air conditioners are suitable for situations where permanent installation is not feasible or desired, such as in rental properties or spaces requiring unit mobility.

The Midea Celest series inverter units are designed for extended daily use and energy efficiency. They feature advanced functions like AI-driven ECOMASTER mode, rapid CoolFlash cooling, and corrosion-resistant Prime Guard coating. The Standard GP series offers more budget-friendly options for shorter usage periods.
