Midea Launches Indoor-Installed Heat Pump for Building Heating
Midea Building Technologies has introduced the H-Pack, a new indoor-installed heat pump designed to combine heating, cooling, and domestic hot water production. The unit aims to complement existing heating systems.

Midea Building Technologies has launched the H-Pack, a new compact heat pump designed for indoor installation, offering a solution for space-constrained environments, particularly in existing buildings.
The H-Pack unit integrates heating, cooling, and domestic hot water production into a single device, eliminating the need for an outdoor unit. This makes it suitable for single and multi-family homes where external heat pump installations are not feasible. The system is particularly positioned as a replacement for fossil fuel heating systems.
A key feature is its smart hybrid control system, which automatically selects between the heat pump and the existing gas or oil heating system based on cost-effectiveness or environmental impact. This feature aims to reduce energy costs and minimize CO2 emissions without complex user intervention. The compact HydroBox module facilitates quick and straightforward installation, reducing fitting time and costs, especially for renovation projects.
The Midea H-Pack can be integrated with smart home systems, photovoltaic installations, and smart grids, allowing users to monitor energy consumption and performance via the Midea SmartHome app. A monoenergetic version with a 3kW auxiliary heater is also available.
Midea positions the H-Pack as a flexible and future-proof heating solution for both new constructions and renovations, addressing increasing demands for energy efficiency and space-saving technologies, especially in multi-family buildings or locations with limited outdoor space.
