Midea Launches New AI-Powered Air Conditioner Made in Indonesia

Midea Electronics Indonesia has officially introduced the Midea AC Celest Inverter, a smart air conditioner manufactured at the company's factory in Jababeka, Cikarang, West Java. The product is intended to cater to the domestic Indonesian market.

The new model incorporates AI Ecomaster technology, which Midea states offers improved energy efficiency and faster cooling capabilities. The unit is also designed for ease of maintenance for both users and technicians. Midea claims the Celest provides up to 30% greater electricity efficiency compared to standard modes.

"Midea wants to ensure that every innovation we introduce truly provides tangible benefits to users. Through Celest, we're introducing AI technology that's not only smart, but also practical and energy-efficient," stated Hendry Wijaya, Head of Product Management at Midea Electronics Indonesia.

The Midea Celest Inverter AC is available across various horsepower capacities, ranging from 0.5 to 2.5 HP. The company highlights its low operating costs, citing daily expenses equivalent to approximately one thousand Indonesian rupiah due to its low power consumption.

Additional features include rapid cooling via CoolFlash, PrimeGuard for enhanced corrosion resistance and broader voltage operation, and an I-Clean function for self-cleaning.
