Midea Building Technologies unveiled its new Numen series air conditioner in Thailand, featuring AI technology and enhanced durability. The launch targets the growing Thai air conditioning market.

Midea Building Technologies has launched its new Numen series inverter air conditioner, with a global debut event held in Thailand on January 30, 2025. The introduction comes as the Thai air conditioning market is experiencing growth, valued at $1.64 billion in 2023 and projected to expand by an average of 5.93% annually until 2029.
The Numen series incorporates three key technologies: the AI ECOMASTER system for precise temperature control and energy efficiency, Prime Guard technology for increased product durability, and the Healthy Air Management system to improve indoor air quality. Midea is also investing in expanding its manufacturing base with a new facility in Rayong province.
Company representatives stated they are doubling their marketing budget and continuing their endorsement deal with Muay Thai fighter Buakaw Banchamek. Midea aims for 200% growth in 2025 and seeks to establish itself among the top three air conditioner brands in Thailand.
Key features of the Numen series include rapid cooling (Cool Flash) and optional Wi-Fi connectivity. The Prime Guard technology utilizes corrosion-resistant copper tubing and special coatings designed to extend the unit's lifespan under various environmental and electrical conditions.
