Midea Releases Details on Bottom-Loading Water Dispenser Power Consumption

Midea Building Technologies has released information regarding the power consumption and features of its bottom-loading water dispensers. The company emphasizes the energy efficiency of these appliances for household use.

Midea's bottom-loading water dispensers typically have a heating power of around 190 watts, while their cooling power ranges between 80 and 100 watts. These figures are designed for energy efficiency in daily operation and are not expected to significantly impact electricity bills. Although the heating function consumes more power, the units are equipped with overheat prevention and an energy-saving mode to help manage consumption.

The company highlights several other advantages, including energy-saving technology that keeps power usage relatively low compared to other dispensers. The units also feature adjustable temperature settings for hot and cold water, along with an overheat protection system to maintain stable temperatures and prevent internal damage. Safety is further enhanced by a child lock feature on the hot water button, designed to prevent accidental scalding in households with children.

Depending on the model, Midea water dispensers also incorporate advanced cleaning features, such as Ozone Cleaning and antibacterial treatments using Nano Zinc Oxide and Silver Zinc materials. These functions aid in removing bacteria and odors from the water, ensuring its purity and hygiene.

Compared to traditional top-loading water dispensers, bottom-loading models offer convenience in water bottle replacement, eliminating the need to lift heavy bottles. In terms of energy consumption, bottom-loading units like Midea's are generally efficient, though the difference compared to many top-loading models may not be substantial. Midea aims to provide practical and comfortable appliances, particularly for families.
