Midea has introduced its latest microwave oven, the 1.1 cubic foot (30-liter) MMDT11S2MB, designed for domestic kitchen environments. The appliance focuses on maintenance efficiency, featuring an automated cleaning function triggered by a single button.

Beyond basic heating capabilities, the unit includes an odor-neutralization system that claims to eliminate up to 99.8% of cooking-related smells. It is also engineered to maintain food temperature post-heating, targeting consistent performance for standard meal preparation.

The launch highlights Midea’s strategy to maintain a competitive footprint in the home appliance sector. The unit is currently listed at 2,249 pesos, positioning it within the mid-range price bracket for household kitchen hardware in the Mexican market.
