Midea Showcases Heating and Energy Solutions at Chillventa 2026

Midea showcased a portfolio of heating and energy solutions at the Chillventa 2026 trade fair, held in Nuremberg in October 2026. The company's display included indoor heat pump units, cold climate heating systems, smart comfort solutions, and home energy management systems.

During the event, Midea received two awards from Euromonitor. The company was recognized as the world's number one manufacturer of residential air conditioning units utilizing inverter technology, and also for being the leading global manufacturer of air conditioning units that use R290 refrigerant. These marks of distinction were awarded to Midea for the fourth consecutive year. Ralph Kobsik, Managing Director of Midea Europe GmbH, accepted the accolades.

Among the featured innovations was the H-Pack, an indoor heat pump solution developed by Midea's European R&D team. This system addresses installation challenges in the European market by eliminating the need for an outdoor unit, thereby mitigating concerns related to noise, space limitations, and building regulations. Its modular design facilitates simpler installation and maintenance, while remote diagnostics reduce the necessity for technician visits. Midea also presented its VitaBreeze system with AirGrid technology, the Raynor series of air conditioning units including the Raynor Pro for Nordic climates, and the PortaSplit system.

The company also introduced MHELIOS, its solution for whole-home energy management. By optimizing energy storage and consumption based on dynamic electricity tariffs, the system aims to reduce household energy costs and enhance grid efficiency. MHELIOS also enables integrated management of EV charging stations, heat pumps, solar systems, and energy storage solutions. Midea continues to drive innovation in HVAC and energy under its "Green Vision, Blue Future" commitment, aiming to foster more efficient, comfortable, and sustainable living across Europe.
