Midea Showcases Heating and Energy Solutions at Chillventa 2026

Midea showcased its innovations in indoor heat pumps, cold climate heating, intelligent comfort, and home energy management at the Chillventa 2026 trade fair held in Nuremberg, Germany, from October 13-15, 2026.

During the event, the company was recognized by Euromonitor as the world's number one manufacturer of inverter residential air conditioners and the world's number one manufacturer of R290 air conditioners for the fourth consecutive year. These awards were accepted by Ralph Kobsik, General Manager of Midea Europe GmbH.

A key product featured was the H-Pack, an indoor heat pump developed by Midea's European R&D team. This solution addresses installation challenges in Europe by eliminating the need for an outdoor unit, thus mitigating issues related to noise, space constraints, and building regulations. Its modular design simplifies installation and maintenance, while remote diagnostics reduce service calls. Midea also demonstrated its VitaBreeze solution with AirGrid technology, allowing precise airflow control via smartphone.

Other highlighted products included the Raynor premium split air conditioner, recognized for its A+++ efficiency and award-winning design, and the Raynor Pro heat pump engineered for Nordic climates, capable of delivering full heating capacity at -25°C and operating down to -40°C. The PortaSplit, a flexible and quiet portable air conditioner designed for European window installations, was also demonstrated. Midea announced that PortaSplit will adopt the R290 refrigerant in 2027. Additionally, MHELIOS, Midea's whole-home energy management solution, optimizes energy storage and consumption based on dynamic electricity pricing to reduce household costs.

Guided by its commitment to a "Green & Blue for the Earth and Water" vision, Midea continues to advance HVAC and energy innovations aimed at promoting a more efficient, comfortable, and sustainable lifestyle across Europe.
