Midea and FC Barcelona Announce Main Partnership
Midea, a global appliance manufacturer, has secured a main partnership agreement with FC Barcelona, set to commence with the 2026/2027 football season. The deal spans five years and will see Midea's branding prominently displayed on the sleeve of all FC Barcelona match and training jerseys.
The agreement was officially signed at Spotify Camp Nou on September 2. Lewis Fu, President of Midea International Business, represented Midea, while Rafael Yuste, First Vice President of FC Barcelona, signed on behalf of the club.
Rafael Yuste commented that Midea's leadership in smart home solutions and its dedication to research align with FC Barcelona's forward-looking vision. He also noted the partnership highlights the global appeal of the Barça brand for international companies.
Lewis Fu stated that Midea anticipates a long and successful partnership, aiming for shared leadership both on and off the field. This collaboration is part of Midea's broader strategy to increase its presence in sports marketing, with existing sponsorships in various international competitions.
