Midland Exploration Expands Gold Exploration in Quebec

Montreal, Quebec โ€“ December 16, 2020 โ€“ Midland Exploration Inc. announced today the acquisition of 100% interest in 773 claims totaling 425 square kilometers in the Abitibi region of Quebec. The newly named Nomans project consolidates a strategic ground position extending over 60 kilometers, situated east of the town of Matagami.

The acquisition is located along a potential extension of the Sunday Lake Fault, approximately 130 kilometers east of Wallbridge Mining Company's Fenelon and Tabasco gold deposits. Midland noted that mineralization at the Wallbridge deposits is not necessarily indicative of mineralization found on the Nomans project.

Historical exploration in the area has been limited, with fewer than a dozen historical drill holes. The geology is described as complex, featuring sedimentary rocks including arenites, siltstones, and conglomerates, with interbedded volcanic rocks and intrusions. The presence of historical Input conductors suggests potential for mineralization.

Midland plans to undertake a comprehensive compilation of historical work to identify high-priority targets for its initial exploration program on the Nomans project. The company is focused on exploring Quebec's mineral potential for new discoveries of gold, platinum group elements, and base metals.
