miHoYo adds iPhone Duo support for Zenless Zone Zero
Developer miHoYo has released an update for its game Zenless Zone Zero, enabling full support for Apple’s new iPhone Duo device.
Gaming studio miHoYo announced today that version 3.3.1 of Zenless Zone Zero provides support for the iPhone Duo hardware. Players can access the update through the App Store to enable the new display and performance optimizations. The company confirmed that a cloud-based version of the title will receive similar support in a forthcoming release.
This update follows Apple’s October rollout of its 'Made for iPhone Duo' certification, a label designed to signal applications optimized for the company's first foldable smartphone. Zenless Zone Zero represents part of the initial wave of software aligning with this new device standard.
The development follows a high-profile visit by Apple CEO Tim Cook to miHoYo’s Shanghai headquarters in October, where he met with company founder Liu Wei. The engagement highlights the ongoing collaboration between Apple and major Chinese developers to ensure software readiness for new hardware form factors.
