Miko Maker Inner Sky Labs Unveils Foundation Models For Physical AI
AI startup Inner Sky Labs, maker of Miko children's robots, has launched new AI models for physical AI applications. The company is also securing a funding round of approximately $30.9 million.

AI startup Inner Sky Labs, the maker of children's robots under the Miko brand, has launched a suite of foundation models designed to enable machines to perceive their surroundings, plan and execute physical actions, and verify those actions against safety rules.
The company is concurrently closing a $30.9 million (INR 300 crore) funding round involving existing backers and new global investors. This funding will bring the company's total funding to $100 million upon completion.
The fresh capital will be used for real-world data collection, computing infrastructure, and model training as the company expands sales to enterprises, governments, and other machine makers. This expansion builds on technology developed for Miko, the company's consumer brand since its early years.
Inner Sky Labs, operating under stealth for the past decade, is now unveiling its broader physical AI initiative. The company states the models are proprietary, built in-house with a strong focus on safety and sovereignty. Commercial deployments with enterprises and governments have already begun, offering solutions deployable in cloud, on-premise, or even offline environments.
