Milepost Acquires Charging Stations from Enkla Elbolaget
EV charging operator Milepost AB has acquired charging stations from Enkla Elbolaget in Karlshamn, Kristianstad, and Ronneby. The acquisition expands Milepost's network focused on everyday charging.

Milepost AB, Sweden's first independent charging operator specializing in everyday charging for electric vehicles, has acquired all charging stations from Enkla Elbolaget located in the municipalities of Karlshamn, Kristianstad, and Ronneby. The deal, announced in early December, integrates these new locations into Milepost's existing network, which spans over 40 municipalities nationwide.
Enkla Elbolaget, which has operated charging stations since 2015 alongside its electricity supply business for consumers and companies, will see its charging infrastructure transferred to Milepost. The integration of these stations is planned to be completed before the end of the year.
Milepost states that these acquired facilities are situated in areas convenient for customers' daily routines, such as near homes, workplaces, or popular destinations. This move follows previous acquisitions by Milepost in neighboring municipalities like Sölvesborg and Tingsryd, as well as in Sundsvall and Vallentuna, indicating a consistent strategy for network expansion.
The acquisition is part of Milepost's broader objective to enhance the accessibility of EV charging infrastructure across Sweden, supporting the ongoing transition to electric mobility. The company aims to consolidate its position in the growing market for electric vehicle charging solutions.
