Miles for Mercy Raises Over $4,000 Before Riders Hit the Road

Businesses in the Frederick area have bolstered the 2nd Annual Miles for Mercy charity ride, raising more than $4,000 for Frederick Health Hospice. American Iron Speed-n-Cycle, the event organizer, announced the funds were secured before the cyclists commenced their route.

The initiative aims to reach a $5,000 goal to support Frederick Health Hospice. The hospice provides care and support services for terminally ill patients and their families in the Frederick region.

This marks the second year American Iron Speed-n-Cycle has organized the event. Funds generated through community sponsorships will assist in covering the operational costs of the hospice, including patient care and family support programs.

Further contributions are anticipated as the cyclists continue their journey. The community's backing underscores a commitment to supporting local healthcare services.
