Mill Creek to sponsor Habitat for Humanity golf tournament for third year

Mill Creek Residential, a developer specializing in rental housing, announced it will be the primary sponsor for Habitat for Humanity Central Arizona's "Fore the Build" golf tournament for the third year running. The event is scheduled for September 11th at the Camelback Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona.

This year's tournament will concentrate on initiatives aimed at providing housing for veterans, with organizers expecting to raise approximately $250,000. The event is anticipated to sell out for a third consecutive season. Darren Thompson, SVP at Flagstar Bank and board member for Habitat for Humanity Central Arizona, highlighted the goal of ensuring veterans have comfortable housing.

The tournament will feature "hole-in-one" prizes, including a car from Earnhardt Auto and a luxury mattress from Hastens. This sponsorship continues Mill Creek Residential's ongoing support for Habitat for Humanity's charitable events.

The company has a 20-year partnership with the Habitat for Humanity Metro Maryland Golf Tournament, through which it has helped raise over $2.2 million for affordable housing. Last year alone, that tournament raised $142,000.
