Millog Oy assumes maintenance responsibility for Finnish Army materiel

At the start of the year, Millog Oy assumed responsibility for the maintenance and overhaul of equipment belonging to the Finnish Army. The contract includes life-cycle support for armored and non-armored vehicle platforms, electronic systems, and weaponry, alongside necessary modifications and installation services.

To facilitate this transition, the Finnish Defence Forces transferred operational duties from several internal maintenance facilities, including the Electronics Centre and depots in Kuopio, Lievestuore, and Tervola. The transfer involved 610 employees transitioning to Millog.

Millog operates as a strategic partner to the military. The company is a member of the Patria Group, with additional ownership held by Insta Group Oy, Raskone Oy, Oy Sisu Auto Ab, and Oricopa Oy. The Finnish State maintains a seat on the company’s board through a special shareholding.
