Republican Tom Tiffany, endorsed by President Donald Trump, will be Crowley's opponent. Wisconsin Democrats are hoping to capitalize on Trump's low approval ratings in the state, which he won in 2016 and 2020, to regain the governorship and gain full control of the state government.
