Tokyo, Japan โ€“ July 10, 2026 โ€“ MIMARU, Japan's apartment hotel brand for families operated by Cosmos Hotel Management Co., Ltd., has launched a new visitor support initiative across Tokyo. The program aims to help international travelers feel less like visitors and more at home while exploring the city.

The service is available to guests staying at any MIMARU property in Tokyo. They can visit any MIMARU location within the city for assistance during the day. This is intended for situations where travelers face unexpected challenges, such as a dead phone battery, sudden weather changes, or difficulty communicating with local services.

MIMARU states that the initiative stems from years of experience hosting international families. Over 90 percent of its guests are international travelers, and approximately 90 percent travel with families. The company believes this perspective offers a unique insight into the difficulties foreign visitors may encounter while discovering Japan.

Mao Mochizuki, International PR Manager at MIMARU, explained that the goal is to provide guests with support beyond their accommodation. Staff, representing 39 countries and regions, can offer assistance with navigation, communication with local businesses, or general guidance.

While modern technologies like translation apps and AI-powered travel tools are available, MIMARU believes personal, in-person assistance remains valuable. By linking its Tokyo properties through a shared support network, MIMARU hopes its guests will feel more confident exploring the city, knowing help is nearby.
