MIMARU Launches Tokyo-Wide Support Initiative for International Travelers
MIMARU, a hotel brand focused on family accommodations in Japan, has launched a new city-wide initiative in Tokyo. The program aims to help international visitors feel more at home while exploring the city.

MIMARU, a hotel chain in Tokyo operated by Cosmos Hotel Management Co., Ltd., has initiated a new, city-wide program to support international travelers.
The "Visitor Support Initiative" aims to make international visitors feel more like members of the community rather than just tourists while exploring Tokyo. The initiative is available to guests at all MIMARU properties across Tokyo.
Under this program, travelers can visit any MIMARU facility in Tokyo during the day to receive assistance. This help might range from directions and communication support with local businesses or services, to shelter from sudden weather changes or general guidance. MIMARU also benefits from staff members representing 39 different countries and regions, offering diverse capabilities to serve guests.
MIMARU specializes in family accommodations, with over 90% of its guests being international travelers, many of whom travel as families. This provides the company with unique insights into the challenges faced by international visitors when exploring Japan.
The initiative seeks to enhance travelers' sense of security and ease their navigation and interactions in Tokyo by offering practical help when needed. While digital tools like translation apps and navigation aids are common, personal assistance continues to provide valuable support in various situations.
