MindWalk Demonstrates AI Drug Discovery Platform at AMD Event

MindWalk Holdings Corp., a company specializing in AI for life sciences, unveiled its ReefIQ platform in a public demonstration at Advanced Micro Devices' (AMD) Advancing AI 2026 event in San Francisco. The platform, which functions as a biological context layer for AI drug discovery, ran on AMD Instinct hardware and was featured in the AMD Instinct Demo Showcase.
The ReefIQ platform aims to address a key challenge in AI-driven drug discovery by reconnecting fragmented research data. MindWalk argues that while biology is inherently interconnected, the data generated during drug discovery is often scattered across different files, systems, and teams. ReefIQ is designed to bridge this gap, providing a connected context for AI reasoning.
The platform integrates and organizes information on sequences, structures, assay results, and published literature into a unified, governed, and queryable web of context. This is intended to enable AI systems to better understand and utilize biological context in the search for new medicines.
MindWalk's technology comprises three layers: HYFT® Technology provides the foundational biological pattern recognition, ReefIQ organizes and governs the biological context, and the LensAI™ layer handles analytical workflows. CEO Jennifer Bath stated that the durable advantage in the field lies in the ability to reason over biological context, rather than solely in the AI models themselves.
