The straw beds in this update function similarly to the game's previous beds, allowing players to skip the night and restore their status. However, unlike standard beds, straw beds do not reset the player's spawn point. This makes them useful for long expeditions or temporary camps where players wish to avoid altering their established respawn location.
Crafting a straw bed requires three hay bundles, yielding four straw beds. This new feature offers a tactical advantage in survival mode, granting players greater flexibility in setting up camps.
Cushions are another new addition, available in 16 different color variations. These cushions are crafted from three wool steps of the same color. They can be placed on any flat surface and align horizontally. While stationary, cushions do not impede movement and can overlap with other objects, excluding other cushions. This functionality allows for aesthetic customization and enhancement of the in-game environment.
