Minfen Gu Appointed to FACC AG Board of Directors
FACC AG has appointed Minfen Gu as its new Chief Financial Officer and a member of the Board of Directors, effective March 1, 2011. She will oversee finance, accounting, and controlling functions.

Aerospace component manufacturer FACC AG announced the appointment of Minfen Gu as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and a member of the Board of Directors, effective March 1, 2011. In her role, Gu will be responsible for the company's finance, accounting, controlling, treasury, and risk management.
Gu succeeds Bernhard Matzner as CFO, who will transition to other financial roles within the FACC group. The company stated that Gu's international experience and broad management knowledge were key factors in her appointment.
Prior to joining FACC, the 45-year-old German national held various positions in auditing, finance, and controlling. Most recently, she served as Head of Controlling for the Asia Pacific region at Evonik Degussa (China) Co., Ltd in Shanghai from 2007 to 2010. Her previous roles include positions at RAG Service GmbH in Frankfurt and Ernst & Young AG, where she worked as an auditor and audit manager.
FACC AG is a global developer and producer of advanced fiber-reinforced composite components and systems for the aviation industry. The company supplies all major aircraft manufacturers, including Airbus and Boeing, with products ranging from structural components for fuselages and wings to engine parts and complete cabin interiors.
